One of the most important features for a virtualization platform is security and reliability – as an underlying feature (tolerating and actively managing hardware and software faults) and as a means of protecting the data of the user from full-scale disasters, or to resolve within-VM faults. NodeWeaver integrates a full snapshot and backup engine, that provides all the functionalities of an enterprise backup infrastructure coupled with NodeWeaver’s simplicity.
Snapshots and backups are based on the internal job scheduling mechanism that underlies most of NodeWeaver’s activities – a distributed scheduler that supervise multiple actions and schedule them.
The administrator can create an unlimited number of jobs, for example to plan different snapshot schedules:
