NodeWeaver transforms the edge into your private nano-cloud

NodeWeaver is a software-defined cloud platform which simplifies the deployment, management and orchestration of infrastructure and applications at the distributed edge.

It installs on bare metal of nearly any hardware and enables the deployment of agile and scalable compute clusters capable of running multiple workloads (VMs, containers, K8s, realtime) reliably and efficiently.

Servers running NodeWeaver automatically combine at each edge location, delivering a cloud-native experience, with resilient and scalable compute and storage for applications.

NodeWeaver is designed for zero-touch deployment, with fully autonomous operation and self-optimization.

Why NodeWeaver?

Persistent Storage and High Availability

Enterprise-grade storage is the foundation for data persistence, clustering, and high availability. NodeWeaver’s software-defined storage technology combines the drives from individual servers into a single logical pool of storage which delivers all the reliability and capability of an enterprise-class SAN storage array.

Efficiency

NodeWeaver’s AI-based engine optimizes CPU utilization, and our minimal footprint (1GB RAM, <1 core) is several orders of magnitude lower that competing solutions, which means that the hardware resources are used for applications and not wasted – a critical factor in resource-constrained environments.

Deterministic Performance

NodeWeaver delivers predictable performance for high priority workloads even under full system load. This is critical for networking applications which require high-speed packet transfer, as well as industrial applications that require guaranteed resources. NodeWeaver’s soft-real time scheduler enables real-time compute capability for standard operating systems.

Deploy and Manage at Mass Scale

NodeWeaver’s DNSOps and EdgeSight tools enable the deployment, monitoring, and management of fleets of NodeWeaver clusters at mass scale. Everything in NodeWeaver is API-driven and can also be managed programmatically with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet.

Autonomous Operation

As a zero-management Edge cloud fabric – integrating storage, networking, virtualization, and orchestration in a single system – NodeWeaver has an easy-to-use interface and a management system which automates most tasks and simplifies activities that would otherwise require highly skilled and expensive personnel. In terms of human intervention, NodeWeaver provides Level 4 system autonomy.

Total Lifecycle Economics

NodeWeaver is designed from the ground up to bring hyperscale technology to nano-scale environments, providing a simple solution that masks the complexity of the underlying design and software.  NodeWeaver enables customers to dramatically lower the cost of infrastructure to run on and lifetime support costs enabled by our fully autonomous operation + near zero touch deployment.

Flexibility

NodeWeaver nodes can consist of virtually any mix of x86-based hardware configurations from different manufacturers.  NodeWeaver automatically detects the capabilities and components of a node, and applications are automatically load balanced across nodes in a cluster, based on workloads and the cluster nodes’ performance capabilities.  Start with 1 node, or as few as 2 nodes for full redundancy, and easily scale as you grow by simply adding nodes to the cluster incrementally.  NodeWeaver clusters support heterogeneous hardware and operate independently of one another but are managed from a single pane of glass.
